An exuberant and impassioned artist, Catie is consumed with the curious struggle of shaping image from the imagination. While her paintings often feature forms or silhouettes, they are intimately about the act, the process of painting, and perhaps how that reflects the process of living. Catie’s mission is to explore the painters’ struggle, to breathe life into flat forms, and to reflect the rigors of the human condition through that process. Her paintings are intimate but open, private but shared journeys.
